It was a weekend filled with softball action in Oradell, NJ. Grant Field West was home to three games. Two back to back on Saturday and one late Sunday.

First the 10U team had a rematch against Woodcliff Lake, playing 5 exciting innings.

Makayla Lucey Takes The Circle For Her First Pitch!

Makayla Lucey made her pitching debut as she came in, to pitch the 3rd inning, after Hannah Pratt pitched the first two. Emily Kwon came in for the 5th where the team closed out a 6 - 5 win.

Bats were alive as Samantha Breyer and Emily Kwon went 2 for 3, along with hits by Hannah Pratt, Makayla Lucey and Bridget Donaghy. This was Oradell Fall 10U's second consecutive win against Woodcliff Lake.

The 12U Girls took the field at 4:30 against Teaneck where they scored 10 runs. Allison Zagroba started in the circle and pitched with heart. Pitching continued with Sabrina Haskill and Anna Fikaris. The girls played with spirit against a strong Teaneck team. Samantha Breyer (after switching jerseys), Kristen Lee. Avery Barr and Anna Fikaris all recorded hits as the 12U bats were alive. 12U plays Teaneck again this upcoming weekend, in Teaneck, where we look to even the record. (Coach Scott apologies for lack of photos as the excitement of the game distracted him)

The 10U team took the field again on Sunday afternoon where they took on River Edge's second 10U Team.

The Oradell bats continued in the following innings as Samantha Breyer and Hannah Pratt went 2 for 3, with Samantha recording an R.B.I. Makayla Lucey, Emma Lenart, Addison Stewart and Bridget Donaghy also recorded hits in a thrilling 5 - 2 victory.
